With a background in JME and JavaFX (Mobile), I started to work with Android and in about one month I could deploy my first simple application to the Android Market. The talk will focus mainly on my impression of the technology, compared with the other mobile Java-related solutions.
So much hype around objective-C, isn't it? In this speech we
will cover the
language from a Java developer perspective. In particular, the speech
will focus on
core platform features such as Class definition, Categories,
Protocols, Memory Management,
and Selector.
Fabrizio Giudici is a Senior Java Architect with a long J2EE experience and in the latest two years he expanded his interests to Jini and NetBeans. Fabrizio has been running Tidalwave.it, his own consultancy company, since 2001 and has been a technical speaker at JavaOne, JavaPolis, Jazoon, Jini Community Meetings and some italian Java conferences. He started working with Java since the old 1.0 times and after 1.3 he has been committed in demonstrating that Java performance is not an issue, really. After bringing Java to the world of Formula One telemetry, he believes he is on the right path.
After many years spent developing in Java, C, and C++, in march 2009 Giannandrea joined the Objective-C/iPhone developer community. He successfully delivered few applications for corporate clients in Milan, as well as personal apps to the Apple's AppStore. Giannandrea is now leading the iPhone application development at Ex Machina SAGL.
